Resort Pools
Pop Century is the newest of the value resorts, and has three themed pools, each representing a different decade. The Hippy Dippy Pool is the flower shaped feature pool representing the 1960’s. The computer pool of the 1990’s is the quietest of the pools, and the bowling pool, shaped like a bowling pin, represents the 1950’s. There are no slides or Jacuzzi tubs, but there is a full schedule of activities by the pool.
Resort Amenities
The arcade at Pop Century is generally considered to be one of the best arcades on property, and the food court is large. In-room pizza delivery’s also available at the resort. You can play a game of ping-pong, have ice cream at the ice cream shop near the lobby, or take a walk on the grounds. The huge pop-culture icons make a great backdrop for memorable vacation photos.
World of Sports
Pop Century is the closest resort to the World of Sports Complex, and the resort is one of only three that provides transportation. This means the resort is often host to school and youth groups. You can generally expect to find a lot of teenagers staying at the resort, both with their families and with sports teams and other groups.
Ease of Transportation
While all transportation at Pop is bus transportation, it has the unique benefit of not sharing buses with any other resort. This means that every bus ride will be an express to your destination. Even the Deluxe resorts share buses, so this is a huge advantage.
