Resort Pools
The feature pool at Old Key West is located next to the marina, and has a tropical feel with steel drum music playing. There’s an enclosed water slide, hot tub and sauna. There are also three quiet pools.
Arcades
Variety is the spice of life at Old Key West. There are two arcades – Electric Eel Game Room at the Hospitality House and the Flying Fish game room near the Turtle Shack snack bar – both offering a variety of video and pinball games.
Roam if you want to
Bikes and Surreys are available for rent, and you can ride around and explore the grounds of the resort. A short walk down the trail will take you to Downtown Disney, or a ferryboat will take you there without the walk. If you’d like to venture out to other resorts for expanded entertainment options, you can also catch a Water Taxi to the Port Orleans Resorts or Saratoga Springs with a transfer at Downtown Disney.
Evenings under the stars
On select nights, catch an outdoor movie near the Family Tree, or join a marshmallow roast at the fire pit. If you stand on the small bridge between Building 23 and the main pool, you can see the higher fireworks from Illuminations at Epcot.
Sports and resort activities
There are so many opportunities for active fun – basketball on a full court, tennis, volleyball, golf and shuffleboard. At Conch Flat Community Hall there are board games, foosball, and table tennis. There’s a daily schedule of activities, like ping pong competitions, Wii nights, sandcastle-building events and trivia competitions.
