Pool
The “L” shaped pool at Hotel Royal Plaza is heated, and does not have a shallow end or pool slide. You should plan to swim and sunbathe in the morning, because after noon the pool is in the shade of the tower. There is a whirlpool hot tub near the pool.
Activities
There is an arcade, workout room and four lighted tennis courts. High speed wireless internet is available for a fee. Miniature Golf at Pirate’s Cove Adventure Golf is just a few minutes away at Crossroads Shopping Center.
Downtown Disney and the parks
Downtown Disney is about a ten-minute walk from the hotel, which is a hub for resort transportation. You can get to any Disney resort from Downtown Disney by bus, or hop on a water taxi at the marina and head to Saratoga Springs, Old Key West or the Port Orleans Resorts. Shuttles are available to the theme parks on a regular schedule all day from your resort.
