Resort Pools

If you think clowns are creepy, you may not like the amusement park-themed feature pool at the Boardwalk. The Luna Park pool features a giant grinning clown slide. But if the circus theme doesn’t bother you, you’ll love the 200-foot long Keister Coaster slide, because it’s very fast!

There are two quiet pools – one at Boardwalk Inn and one at Boardwalk Villas.

Arcades

Guests of the Boardwalk Inn and Villas have a choice of two arcades – Side Show Games Arcade near Luna Park and The Yard at the ESPN Club.

Go for a spin

Ride the trail that loops Crescent Lake on a bike or a Surrey. You’ll travel 0.8 miles, and pass five Epcot area resorts on the way.

Put a line in the water

Guided fishing excursions on Crescent Lake are available. Bring your camera to document your catch – all fishing at Walt Disney World is catch and release!

Be a Sport

Teen playing tennisEquipment is available for rent for a variety of sports and games. You can play tennis, or hang out at the Community Hall at Boardwalk Villas and meet other resort guests. There are ping-pong and air hockey competitions, board games and other activities.

Snacks around the resort

The Boardwalk Inn and Villas Resorts offer a refillable mug. Once you purchase the mug, you can enjoy unlimited free refills from the pool bar and Boardwalk Bakery for the rest of your stay.  Whether you are on the Disney dining plan, or have a little bit of spending money, there are many snacks available around the resort in the $1 – $4 price range.

Visit the Boardwalk

The Boardwalk Entertainment Area is just steps away. In the late afternoons and evenings, you can often find teens gathered on the grassy area between the boat dock and the Boardwalk lobby. After dark, the lighted Boardwalk really comes alive, with magicians and jugglers and carnival-style games. You can get a slice of pizza from the Boardwalk Pizza Window and find a place to watch the Epcot fireworks on the bridge between the Beach Club and the Boardwalk.

Catch a game on TV

Sports fans will love the ESPN Club on the Boardwalk. The food is basic bar and grill food, and it’s a great place to watch a game. There are TV’s everywhere – even in the stalls in the bathroom. Show off your sports trivia knowledge in the sports trivia game held periodically throughout the day.

Watch a movie on the beach

In the evening, you can head over to the Yacht and Beach Club for a campfire and outdoor movie. A large movie screen is set up next to the “Ship Wreck” slide at Stormalong Bay. You can have some smore’s and watch the movie of the day with guests from all of the Epcot area resorts.

T-Off at Fantasia Gardens

The most challenging of the miniature golf courses at Walt Disney World is a short walk away from the Boardwalk area.

Hit the parks!

There are paths that will take you directly to two parks! Both Epcot and Hollywood Studios are less than 15 minutes away by foot. If you’re saving your steps for the parks, you can catch a ride on a Friendship boat instead.
