Resort Pools
Head over toward the Key West wing to Clearwater Cove for fun in the family pool. It’s a zero-entry pool with waterfall and a two-story octopus slide and a sandy play area. The pool should never feel overcrowded, because a lot of convention guests stay at the Gaylord Palms. This means you won’t have a lot of competition for a great spot by the pool!
Resort Amenities
There are lushly landscaped gardens inside tropical atriums, so you can explore koi ponds and waterfalls under the glass domes in air-conditioned comfort. Eight stories of guestrooms in four themed wings overlook the atrium. Teens like the lively Key West wing, because it overlooks a bar with live music and a docked 60-foot sailboat. There is an arcade with video games and air hockey open 24 hours a day.
Resort Activities
There’s an executive golf putting course, sand volleyball and croquet. You can make status updates and check in with friends using the complimentary high speed wireless internet. There’s a Spa with salon and fitness center, and live entertainment available nightly at Sunset Sam’s. Be sure to check the alligator-feeding schedule!
