Epcot at Night
Epcot is a lively park at night. If you’re passing through the Innoventions Plaza at night, be sure to look down at the sidewalk. The walkway is laced with twinkling fiberoptics.
The World Showcase Pavilions are especially beautiful when they’re all lit up. And the World Showcase is the setting for the nighttime show at Epcot – Illuminations. People will start camping out a half hour before the show or more, trying to secure a good viewing spot for Illuminations.
While posted hours for Future World show that part of the park closes several hours before the World Showcase, you’ll find that the headliners stay open until the Start of Illuminations. (Later on days with Extra Magic Hours.)
Since we think you’d rather be off getting in one more ride on Test Track than holding a spot for the show, we recommend that you head over and find the Cast Member entrance in between the China and Norway Pavilions. You should be able to step out of the walkway into this area just before the start of the show and have a virtually unobstructed view.
